What’s the sisal cellulose sponge?- Yancheng Oukai Sponge Products Co., Ltd.

What is Sisal? Basically, the name originates from the Agave Sisalana, a species of flowering plant native to southern Mexico but widely cultivated and naturalized in many other countries. The plant yields a strong and durable fiber that is used in making ropes and various other products, such as cat scratchers and floor rugs.

Introducing an eco-friendly and odor-free kitchen sponge. They don’t collect bad odor and bacteria like polyester sponges and synthetic cloths. Due to the toughness and abrasive nature of sisal fiber, it is used in the scouring portion of our plant-based sponges. This kitchen sponge is made of wood pulp cellulose (white portion), and 50% natural sisal fiber, 50% polyurethane (yellow portion) for heavy-duty scrubbing.

Effortlessly wipe away dirt, grease, grime, and more. The sponges are made using 10x compression and enhanced synthesis technology to last longer than traditional sponges.

Wood cellulose is compostable and biodegradable. Remove the scrubber/scouring pad before composting the cellulose sponge.
